CSX 34 basks in the chilling morning sun 3 days before Christmas. This locomotive was involved in an unfortunate rail outting about an hour later. I drove out to Chevrolet Baptist Church, set up my camera along the ex-L&N double-track mainline, and waited for about an hour or so. After about an hour or so of waiting she came blasting around the curve with strong intent of getting over the mountain. As soon as I flicked my camera on, I wondered why it wouldn't take a photo. I then realized that my camera battery died. Nonetheless she put on an amazing show of force. |
